Home Again, Home Again

We did a "Tour of the Texas Hill Country" this weekend. Kevin took Friday off and we headed down south. Our first stop was the Round Rock outlet mall. Heaven. Pure Heaven. I must say that the Gymboree there is the best one i've ever been to. Of course it's last year's stuff, but for toddlers, who cares? It's still cute. And very affordable. The other Gymboree outlets i've been to are really no different than the regular stores, but this one, my friends, was great. We're talking Target prices. I loaded up for the summer. If you're ever in the Austin area, you must go shop there. Then, we stopped by Rudy's and had some barbeque. Kevin ordered the wrong cut of meat so it was a little greasy, but it still beats the pants off of any other BBQ i've ever had. Then we drove a short distance to San Marcos and stopped at Aquarena Springs. Not much is happening there anymore, but we still had a good time walking around and enjoying the day. I have uploaded some photos over there----> in my Flickr box. After that we went to my parents' in New Braunfels and stayed the weekend. Yesterday we made our way to Fredericksburg for a family reunion. We intended to go to the Wildflower farm, but very little was in bloom, so we decided to save that for another day. We got home last night after a tiring drive. If I hear "I want ooooouuuuuttttt" one more time from these kids, I will scream.
