Random Monday Stuff
We are utterly worn out from a busy long weekend of weddings, family, and fun. We took the girls to the zoo, went fishing, and then yesterday after all the wedding stuff was over we cooked hamburgers for everyone.
Aunt Mindy and Chickie Cousin Chelsea are bonafide yankees. When we went fishing they both complained like a couple of pansies about how hot it was. Of course when we go to Maine next week, we will probably need sweaters at the beach while they wear their swimsuits.
Can you believe this is available again? I loved this and wanted it SO bad. I can't remember who it was that had it-I think my cousin Jessica- but I was so jealous. My brother and I were deprived children, you know. I will be a good mother and buy it for my children.
And these? Too cute. Lulu can eat her weight in fruit each day, but I have to threaten her to eat vegetables. Blondie is the exact opposite. She will nibble on a banana and maybe a strawberry, but she eats vegetables like no other. I bet if I made these for breakfast she would eat them. Because what kid doesn't like food on a stick?
For some reason the pictures I took from the other night aren't loading onto my computer right. But i've loaded a few more onto Flickr for those of you interested.
I went to Target this morning. And Home Depot. The other day I walked in the door after running errands and our kitchen globe light over the sink was in the sink, shattered. I have no idea how it fell. So I went and got a new one today. Much more up to date and alot prettier. And then I went to Target and perused the summer stuff while I was picking up some bread and milk. You know usually they have really cute summer things like all the outdoor dinnerware and the little decorative stuff for your yard. This year i'm not really impressed. There were a few things i've got my eye on, but for the most part? Kinda ugly. While I was there I bought a package of Reese's and realized that you should definitely buy Reese's at Sams. Because two are simply not enough.
Snoopy Snow Cones! My sister had one of those and I saw it at Target the other day. We are so getting one this summer!
ReplyDeleteGlad you all had a good time - can't wait to see all your photos from the NE.
Love those pictures!
ReplyDeleteMy best friend had one of those! I wanted one soooooo badly! It kind of makes me feel old that our childhood goodies are coming back as "retro", but this time WE are the parents and can buy ourselves all the cool stuff we never got to have :) Yay!!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you weren't there with the kids when the globe fell. that is weird weird weird
