* I got in an arguing match with a squirrel. I was beginning to think the squirrel would win. More details to come in another post.
* Blondie is potty-trained. Or 'toilet-taught' as the politically correct people would say. I don't care what you call it--she goes and I don't have to change diapers. Hallelujah! Except at night and naps, of course. But I can live with that.
* I spent the weekend in Houston at my aunt and uncle's resort, ahem, house. She taught me how to make the kids some nightgowns and i'm going to start working on one as soon as I get the nerve clean a spot in the kitchen for my sewing piece of junk machine. Pictures to follow in another post.
* Lulu is gaining more confidence in the swimming department. My aunt and uncle have a gorgeous pool and Lulu stayed in it the majority of the weekend. I was beginning to think she would start growing gills. We are considering getting our pool going again because they slept so good that night enjoyed it so much.
* I'm beginning to think we should start building an ark because of all this rain we've been having. I'm enjoying it, but my clothes don't get very dry in the middle of a thunderstorm.
* I'm writing this from my new computer. Yes, I finally convinced tightwad to buy one.
*And lastly, some pictures. Because nothing fills a mindless post like some cute pictures. I've added some more to Flickr, so go take a look there, too.
AAAHHH! A post!!! All's right with the world again!

How did you potty train her? We've gotten no where and deposited a heafty sum on a must-be-potty-trained program for the little guy next year. Come help! Glad you are back!
ReplyDeleteJessica and Mimi: Okay, okay, I won't take anymore breaks for a while.
ReplyDeleteJenn: To be honest, she pretty much potty trained herself. I bought one of those very simple Baby Bjorn potties and set it in the hallway for her with a roll of tp. She copies her sister on everything, and this was no exception. I didn't push her and if she had an accident, it was no big deal. Lots of clapping, dancing, and singing when she went successfully.
Pamela: 105! Glad you're getting some rain to cool you off a bit.
