Pre-Spring Break Post

This very well may be my last post for a while. At least until the end of the week. If I can even make it far enough to publish this post. Why? Because our poor, decrepid, free computer is dying very rapidly and I guess we will have to get another one. It keeps randomly freezing up and I have tried everything to fix it. You know, with me being the highly intelligent computer technician that I am. But everything I do just seems to make it more cranky and sometimes it just throws a big temper tantrum and refuses to let me even TRY to do anything. It may very well be that our Quickbooks file has gotten so large that it can't handle it anymore. So I guess we have no choice but get a new, sleek, space efficient computer. You know, for the company's sake. But the good news is that i'll certainly post by Thursday night because I have to cut paychecks and those guys live to see me on Fridays. On a relative note, now that Kevin got this bonus, OF COURSE our house is falling apart. The thermostat broke which was very pleasant. We kept wondering why some nights we woke up frozen and some nights we were all soaked in sweat. And the very large electric bills made us wonder, too. We're smart like that. Then, our bedroom ceiling fan broke, the mower conveniently stopped working after I mowed exactly 3 minutes, the washing machine got fixed, and all the light bulbs in our entire house went out. This all happened last week. Next week we'll have a contest to see what else can break. Good times. Yesterday we went to yet another birthday party at one of those bounce house places. This one was much better than the last one in every way possible. But still. We were worn out. I can only imagine how tired the kids were. Even though Lulu was pretty much a chicken on the slides, she is begging to have her birthday party there. Blondie, however is our dare-devil. Not only was she climbing 100 feet in the air with a bunch of 8 year olds, but she slid down on her belly, laying down, and backwards. It was hilarious to see this tiny little body flying down that huge slide and get up laughing so hard she could hardly walk. Here's a picure:

  1. Everything is co-ordinated to break at once.

    Thats the rule.

  2. That looks like a lot of fun! My daughter would love a slide like that--only after an hour of my trying to talk her into going down that is.

  3. Looks like tons of fun! And even better that the parents just have to sit and watch. Gracie is really itching to come see Macie...she for some reason thinks that they are just the best of friends (I am not sure she even remembers who Macie is though).
