Okay, Okay, Here I Am
You can stop swearing at me now because look!, i'm back! Bearly. The flu stinks, so wash your hands often and don't leave your house until April. We're feeling much better now. Lulu's 106 degree temperature is gone (I kid you not), the shaking, shivering, and sweating has subsided, and the vomit has been cleaned up. Kids bounce back pretty good after the flu, but it's about to drive me crazy. I felt alright and then we went to see Dave Ramsey on Saturday and it thoroughly wore me out. By 8:30 I was so tired I wanted to cry. And Sunday I felt miserable again. Now, i'm feeling better, but my stomach is rather queasy and even though I still can't hear, my ears are ringing so loud I have a hard time falling asleep.
So now it's back to the same old same old. My house is a wreck because I haven't cleaned it in, well, a week. And the weather's been nice so i've kept the windows open, but it's windy, so there's dust and dirt everywhere. I have to go start dinner. I guess my days of not having to cook dinner are over. Maybe the flu wasn't so bad after all.
I'm so glad you're back!! I've missed the glimpse into your living room!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're all feeling better!!

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better! It's so scary when kids get such high fevers. I've only had the actual flu once, a few years ago, and I remember feeling like a wrung-out dishrag that got run over by a truck! It does really suck that you can't get decent over-the-counter medicine anymore. The new decongestant does not work as well as Sudafed at ALL.
