Some Domestic Affairs

I almost forgot to post anything today. My house is about to eat me alive because it's so trashed. I bearly made it to the computer without sinking into all this mud around here. We worked outside all day yesterday and tracked in enough mud and grass to make a small Indian dwelling in the living room. The big 5th birthday bash is this weekend, and I was going to take a poll and see if I should clean the house the first part of the week and try to keep it clean throughout the week, or just really dive into it the latter part of the week. However, it's going to take me ALL week to clean it, so a poll is really useless. You need to go read my cousin Jessica's new blog. She is working in Germany for a few months and is keeping a journal of her adventures. It's so much fun to read! You really need to check out the story about the naked tour guide. I'm so glad she has this opportunity and could not be more proud of her for venturing into it. I think my pretty red yarrow has drowned. It was getting so big and beautiful, but I don't think it likes all this rain. It's looking a little better today, but not much. Does anyone know how to attract bats? I'm really kind of freaked out by bats, but we have so many mosquitoes, it's ridiculous. I hope our frogs can help out a little, too.
