Just To Say I Posted

Look at these little dresses. I'm not crazy about the leopard trim, but I love the general idea. They call them feed sack dresses, but do you think they meant flour sack dresses? Because I've never seen feed sacks this pretty. I remember my grandma having an apron or something made out of flour sacks. And wasn't there a chapter in one of the Little House books about Ma making curtains out of flour sacks? I'm Kevin's getting a new grill for Father's Day. The one we have is on it's last leg. For some reason the burner only works on one side, even though it's been replaced a couple of times. It's perfect for grilling three hamburgers because that's about all that will fit under the flames. We've picked out a nice stainless one from Lowe's and conveniently, I received a coupon in the mail yesterday. It's like these retailers read your mind or something! That's all. Everybody has sinus problems this morning. Makes for alot of good tantrums and whining. Now I will go and dose everyone up with Bendadryl and take a quick nap. Have a good weekend!

  1. adorable dresses~but I'm with you on the leopard trim...at that steal of a price, I think you should get one in each color for each child! And, yes, that was called feed sack because... ta da... "feed" (flour, cornmeal, chicken feed)came in them and you had to purchase several bags of the same print to make a dress or blouse...at least that's what Aunt Louise said. I have collected quilts made from feedsacks!
Another reason you need to learn to....you-know~
