200th Post

This is my 200th post. 200 ramblings about my boring life, my cute kids, and my intense animosity towards Walmart. But even after all the nonsense I write, my friend Jennifer still found me worthy to receive a Thinking Blog Award. And shoot, I just threw away the Academy Awards acceptance speech I had scribbled on a little cocktail napkin! Seriously, I am way honored because Jennifer is such an inspiring, creative, thoughtful person and she has like, 5,000 other blogs she could have awarded. We are real-life friends, not just cyber-friends. Our husbands grew up together and Kevin was in their wedding (in which he reminds me monthly of how he was so lonely and didn't have a girlfriend at the time and Jennifer sent him home with an ivy or a begonia or something.) So now I am supposed to award five other people I know with Thinking Blog Awards, but frankly, I only know of one other person who a) reads my blog, b) hasn't already received an award, and c) actually has a blog to award. And that person would be......... Stephanie from Chasing Faith! Steph's another one of my real-life friends even though I haven't actually laid eyes on her in about 2 years. She keeps having these cute babies and she likes to show them off like I do. We have alot of other things in common, too. She likes to shop, she cooks, she dresses her kids cute, she likes pink, and our kids are pretty much identical in every way but looks. You know, some of you could start a blog, too, and then I wouldn't feel so lame by not having enough people to give this award to.
