Pop! Goes The Tax Refund
We are going to Maine this summer to visit Aunt Mindy and Chickie Cousin Chelsea. Does anyone know a good surgeon who can amputate my left arm to offer to the airlines? Holy little bag of peanuts, Batman, it's expensive. When we went before, we only had to buy 2 tickets. Now, well, you people having 3 or 4 or 9 kids, don't plan on going on vacation anytime soon. I found a flight out of Austin on JetBlue, but we have to stay a week. Hope Aunt Mindy can tolerate us that long. Has anyone flown JetBlue? Dave Ramsey highly recommends it. They were by far the cheapest and they seem to have good service. Plus, they offer the Disney Channel and Dunkin Donuts, and that's always a good selling point for me.
I have heard about that very same flight out of Austin! Some people who make regular flights to Mass. mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteThey had some problems with making passengers sit in the plane on the runway for something like two and a half months during a blizzard, but they "made nice" to quote Natalie. If they do that to you, you can always get the girls to start the "I want oooouuuttt! Un-uckle me!!!" duet.

ReplyDeleteYeah, Jet Blue got a bad rap recently. But, I flew with them from Seattle to NYC and it was great!!! They have direct TV televisions on the back of every seat and I watched the new episode of ER on the way home with my little earphones. I'm not the best flier and I loved it!!
